Junkang Feng BSc, MPhil, PhD: majoring in Engineering and in Computer Science. He worked as an RA at the University of Manchester UK. Dr Feng is a Senior Lecturer and a member of the Database and Knowledge Management Research Group at the University of the West of Scotland, UK. He is a Visiting Professor at Donghua University and Beijing Union University in China. Dr Feng’s research interests include information and information flow theories, distributed information systems and database theory and technology including NoSQL databases, and has published over 220 research articles. Dr Feng completed/was involved in 9 externally funded research projects. His work was submitted to RAE 2001 and REF 2014 in the UK. He has supervised 8 PhD programmes and 36 MSc dissertation projects to successful completion.
