Muhammad A. Saeed has joined Virtual University (VU) of Pakistan in April 2006 and is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Computer Science Department.

His area of research is agent based data encryption and information security. He is also interested in Quantum Computing especially encryption mechanisms used in this field. He is the author of a monograph on framework for Self Organizing Encryption in Ubiquitous Environment, published by VDM Verlag in 2010. He has also published research papers on his area of interest. Before joining VU, he has ample experience of both software development and network management.
