Dr. Ranganath Muthu, Professor in the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering has 24 years of teaching and 2 years of industrial experience in the field of Instrumentation, Control, and Power Electronics. He had previously worked at the University of Bahrain, Madras Institute of Technology, Anna University, and Rourkela Steel Plant. He received the B. Tech. Degree in Electrical Engineering from Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, and M.E. & Ph.D. Degrees in Instrumentation Engineering from Madras Institute of Technology, Anna University.

Dr. Muthu has published 40 papers in International Journals and 55 papers in proceedings of International/ National Conferences. He has organized four international conferences, three national conferences, two Anna University Faculty Development Training Programs, in addition to many short-term courses.
