Ethane is different from natural gas, crude oil, etc., its critical temperature is low, and it is easy to change phase with the change of ambient temperature. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the constraint condition to ensure that ethane is in the gas phase. Therefore, based on the optimization principle, the calculation model of the economical flow rate of the ethane transport pipeline including the ethane phase, the pipeline stability, and the compressor pressure ratio constraint is established with the lowest annual cost of the gas phase ethane pipeline. Solve the problem with the lowest cost. The gas-phase ethane transmission pipeline proposed in Tarim Oilfield is analyzed as an example. The results show that the economical flow rate of the pipeline under different working conditions ranges from 3 to 7 m/s, which guides the selection of the diameter of the Tarimethane pipeline. The economic design, safe operation and management of the ethane pipeline provide the basis.

This paper clarifies essential assignments of checking and detailing the development status of plants in urban rooftop gardening. We execute the customary checking of plants development. Height of the plant is one of the parameter to decide the growth of the plant. The tallness of the plant is more than the predetermined typical height in the program; robot shows that as overgrown, if there is no development discovered robot will show that as vacant slot. For identifying the development of the plant we utilize Sharp GP2D12 sensor, three white line sensors of ATMEGA 2560 FIREBIRD V to take after the arena of cultivation slots.
[...] Read more.Electricity usage monitoring systems play a vital role towards raising energy utilization awareness for consumers. Existing solar mini-grid infrastructure, however, lacks a user-friendly two-way platform to allow consumers to access information about electricity consumption. This paper proposes a cloud-based, two-way energy usage monitoring system that will allow both utility companies and consumers to access energy consumption data in a user-friendly way through a web platform. The system requirements were collected via questionnaires, interviews, and observations conducted at two solar mini-grids centres located at Arusha and Kilimanjaro regions in Tanzania. The system uses a Low Power Area Network (LPWAN) and the existing GPRS network to monitor electricity consumption data between smart meter units and the cloud server. Also, a virtual bill payment module and usage status feedback functionality have been integrated into the system to increase awareness of the cost-effective use of electricity and hence, achieve the sustainability of solar mini-grids. By using both white-box and black-box system testing approaches, findings show that the system will not only raise awareness among customers about the economical usage of electricity, but it can also be used by mini-grid companies as a source of data to determine current and future energy demands to minimize large investment costs.
[...] Read more.Skin cancer is one of the most death causing cancer with the increase of infections on skin due to various parameters of the nature, atmosphere and geographical area .The abnormal growth of skin cells has become common in today’s world this abnormal growth is termed as skin cancer. Skin cancer mostly develops on the part of the skin which is exposed to sun light continuously or for long duration develops on body exposed to sun light, but it can occur anywhere on the body. Skin cancer in beginning stage is curable. Patient’s life can be saving from skin cancer by early & fast detection. Early detection of skin cancer in achievable at beginning stage with the new technology. Biopsy method was used to detect the cancer in the earlier days. During biopsy, a small part of the skin tissue is extracted from the carcinoma patient; this part of the tissue will be processed in various laboratories for the identification of the presence of infected cells and the stage at which the cancer is in. Biopsy was a very time consuming and painful for the patients, and the result of biopsy process was not accurate and correct. To overcome the loner procedure and to increase the accuracy Support Vector Machine Algorithm was used in identifying the infection/ Carcinoma at the early stage and cure the infection before it leads to death.
[...] Read more.The inhibition of the corrosion of aluminium by benzaldehyde in 1.4 M HCl was investigated using weight loss method and characterized by FT-IR analysis. The results showed that the corrosion rate of aluminium in 1.4 M HCl decreases with increase in concentration of the inhibitor. The inhibition efficiency increases progressively as the concentration of the inhibitor increases. Effects of temperature on the inhibition efficiency of the inhibitor showed that inhibition efficiency decreases with increase in temperature. The value of activation energy (Ea) was found to be 20.55 Kjmol-1 for aluminium corrosion in 1.4 M HCl which was increased to 34.49 Kjmol-1 in the presence of 0.1 M inhibitor concentration. The calculated values for enthalpy of activation (ΔHa) were all positive indicating the endothermic nature of the aluminium dissolution process. The obtained values of Gibbs free energy (ΔGads) was in the range of -17.94 to -18.27 kJ mol-1. Kinetics of the reaction in the presence of the inhibitor revealed that it follows a first order reaction. The value of rate constant (k) was reduced from uninhibited acid to the inhibited acid solution, while the half-life values in the presence of the inhibitor were higher compared to the value in uninhibited acid solution suggesting that inhibition efficiency increases with increase in the concentration of the inhibitor.
